Cellulite is dimpling of the skin or a change in structure of the skin which estimates suggest affects over 80% of women. Cellulite treatment must focus both on lifestyle factors such as exercise and diet and direct often medical cellulite treatment to increase circulation in the area. Although lifestyle factors should first be addressed cellulite is still common in many women who are leading a healthy life and are of a healthy weight.
How the Cellulite Treatment works
This is where products such as Lotus Roller and cellulite and stretch mark serum can help. The derma rollers such as the Lotus Roller are shown to increase collagen induction in the area undergoing the cellulite treatment. It also increases the absorption of any products that are applied to the area as well as increasing micro circulation.
Physiologically cellulite is largely caused by a lack of circulation in the area and this is easily treated with the Lotus Roller. Another cause is that women have higher levels of fat cells just below the skin. Cellulite is formed when these fatty cells become to numerous and begin to squeeze through the parallel arrangement of collagen and elastin fibres. Derma rollers such as the Lotus Roller can increase the production of collagen and help lay down a new layer of collagen fibres. This can help flatten out the skin and assist collagen treatment.
The Stretch mark and cellulite serum is specifically designed to increase blood circulation in the area. It is assisted by the Lotus Rollers ability to increase absorption of products through the skin (transdermal absorption). This allows the serum to penetrate the area to be treated more quickly and effectively.
Performing the cellulite treatment
It is usually best to use the 1.5mm Lotus Roller for this purpose.
·Massage the area vigorously first using the Stretch mark and cellulite serum to increase blood flow.
·Roll the Lotus Roller across the area in both a horizontal and vertical direction. Cover each area to be treated between 6 and 10 times.
